"The Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) provides participants with a strong foundation in Electrical and Electronic (EE) Engineering and emerging skillsets in the areas of Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualisation and Analytics that will equip them for the diverse and dynamic EE industry.
This unique programme offers two specialisation tracks in specific fields of Electronic Communications and Microelectronics. These are high value-adding sectors in the EE industry with strong demand for skilled and trained professionals."
What You'll Learn
This module aims to equip students with an understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its relevance to engineering applications. It will cover the theory and application process of AI methods, machine learning and deep learning techniques, and AI ethics. Commonly used machine learning algorithms and deep learning models will be introduced to students with engineering use cases. Students will build their understanding of AI methods and tools using AI models in engineering systems. The evolution and the latest development of AI will be introduced to support students to explore further.
