About This Course
This course introduces participants to the Fundamentals of Access Control Systems (ACS), equipping them with essential knowledge and practical skills to support installation, operation, and maintenance of basic ACS setups in commercial and industrial environments.
What You'll Learn
Participants will also gain hands-on exposure to access control components such as card readers, electromagnetic locks, controllers, and break glass units. Participants will learn how to assist in equipment setup, perform simple configurations, carry out preventive maintenance and support basic troubleshooting. In addition, the course introduces participants to relevant industry standards, safe work practices, and the operational role of ACS within a broader security system.
Entry Requirements
At least 2 GCE N level passes in any 2 subjects or equivalent.
Language Proficiency: Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 or equivalent
Applicants that do not meet the prerequisites maybe subjected to a screening process to assess suitability for the course.
