Practical Software Engineering
About This Course
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Synthesise theoretical knowledge gained from earlier courses with practical skills to develop a cohesive software solution.
• Put into practice the 3 aspects of software engineering:
a) requirements analysis and design
b) implementation and testing
c) deployment and maintenance.
• Understand the difference in the execution process of different applications and how it relates to software architecture designs.
• Implement a modular software design that can easily incorporate Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API) and relational database endpoints.
• Implement test suites and understand the importance of automated testing in the software development process.
