About This Course
At the end of the course, participants will acquire the skills and knowledge to build efficient and robust backend databases and distributed ledgers (i.e. blockchains).
What You'll Learn
In this course, participants acquire the knowledge and skills to design backend solutions to efficiently store and retrieve Internet of Things (IoT) data, essential for audits and for training machine learning algorithms. Topics covered include the basics of relational and document databases, and how to design schemas to efficiently store data in these databases. As blockchains show great potential as distributed and immutable ledgers for recording data, this course will also cover the principles of designing and building blockchains.
Entry Requirements
Minimum of a Diploma with Programming knowledge. Learners must complete the Building Secure and Resilient Servers for Internet of Things course.
