About This Course
This course is designed for Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) designers and engineers involved in Corenet X (MEP) submissions. It equips participants with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, as well as essential technical skills.
What You'll Learn
The course aims to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for successful Corenet X (CX) submissions. It covers CX Gateways submission processes, timelines, workflow challenges, and the roles and responsibilities of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) engineers. Participants will also learn techniques for parameters and value manipulation for Industry Foundation Classes – Singapore (IFC-SG) submissions, coordination strategies, and the use of automated and visual checks through existing toolsets. Successful case studies from pioneering consultants will be shared to reinforce best practices in CX submissions and MEP coordination.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Describe CORENET X (CX) workflows, regulatory processes, statutory roles, key terms, user journey, timeline, and workflow challenges.
2. Comprehend MEP engineers’ roles, key gateway submission processes, agency requirements, CX Code navigation, and Land Transport Authority (LTA) external works guidelines.
3. Apply IFC-SG standards by mapping MEP services, manipulating parameters and values, and exporting compliant Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) models.
4. Apply coordination techniques and validate data and information within Revit and IFC models to enhance submission quality.
