Python and SQL Development
About This Course
In this module learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of AI agents - their autonomous decision-making capabilities, adaptability, and how they fundamentally differ from traditional automation and machine learning models. Simultaneously, learners will develop practical skills in SQL database management, including constructing and executing queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and integration with Python programming. The course bridges theoretical concepts of modern AI systems with hands-on database skills essential for implementing data-driven solutions.
What You'll Learn
1. Define Agentic AI and explain how it differs from general automation and traditional machine learning models.
2. Compare and contrast AI agents with traditional automation tools based on autonomy, adaptability, and decision-making ability.
3. Learners will be able to construct and execute SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and manage data in relational databases, and integrate SQL with Python.
Entry Requirements
Age: 21 years old and above
Language: Obtained at least Grade C6 in GCE 'O' Level English Language, or
Be able to listen, speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPLN) Level 5.
Academic:
- At least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes including English Language with C6 pass or Higher Nitec or Equivalent
- Must have basic computer literacy skills
