Data analytics and visualisation tools allow the tracking, managing and evaluating of progress of teaching interventions, using students’ assessment data. Empowered with evidence on what works and what does not work, education institutions are able to improve student learning and school performance. The emphasis is to enable principals to improve school operations and for teachers to improve teaching effectiveness, by applying data-driven decision-making in schools.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the 1-day bootcamp, participants will be able to:
• Understand how to personalise students’ learning process through analysis of classroom data to reveal insights on students’ learning needs, behaviours and mindset;
• Adopt data visualisation skills to enhance interaction and engagement when communicating with stakeholders, educationists and decision-makers;
• Understand how to craft learning experiences and design interesting curriculum according to learning style and preference of the students as well as the teachers;
• Strengthen ability to spot any unconscious biases towards the assessment of performance.
