At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
• Be familiarised with statistical analytics techniques and tools such as Excel PhStat, PSPP, SPSS and use them to interpret a wide range of data produced by and gathered on behalf of students in order to assess academic progress, predict future performance, and spot potential learning issues
• Use scientific methods that enable critical rationalisation between choices for equitable, well-balanced and informed pedagogy approach
• Use analytics tools to transform data into visual analytics for performance tracking.
• Learn how to use descriptive, predictive and predictive analytics to facilitate decision making

Data analytics and visualisation tools allow the tracking, managing and evaluating of progress of teaching interventions, using students’ assessment data. Empowered with evidence on what works and what does not work, education institutions are able to improve student learning and school performance.
