About This Course
This course offers a comprehensive learning path that enables the participants to get acquainted with the essential concepts such as Java Array, Threads Exception Handling, etc. This course also provides hands-on training of the Java Fundamentals that are popularly used in the software application industry.

Learners will be able to:
● Develop an understanding into the history and background of Java, providing a foundation for understanding its significance and the contexts in which it is most beneficial.
● Develop a strong understanding of Java syntax, object-oriented programming principles. Gain an understanding of both implicit (automatic) and explicit (manual) type casting
● Design develop, and test robust and scalable Java applications. Implement multithreading and concurrency in Java application
● Implement the Flow control in java programming, allowing learners to dictate the order in which instructions are executed based on conditions and repetitions.
● Be proficient in key java OOP concepts which includes Encapsulation, Abstraction, Inheritance, and Polymorphism. This is further broken down to inheritance, single level inheritance, multi-level inheritance, super keyword

Entry Requirements
At least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes including English Language with C6 pass or Higher Nitec or Equivalent
Be able to listen, speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPLN) Level 4.
Minimum Age Required: 21
