About This Course
Learners will make use of various packages to build NodeJS and Express applications, adding on to their existing knowledge of Mongo and MySQL to build industry relevant applications. Learners will be taught the best practices in using AI tools to test their application.
What You'll Learn
Learners will be able to:
● Develop Server-Side Applications with Node.js. By setting up and configuring a suitable environment. Build scalable and efficient server-side applications using Express.js or similar frameworks. Implement RESTful APIs to handle requests and responses.
● Implement Authentication and Authorization. Secure backend applications using authentication and authorization mechanisms. Manage user sessions and implement user roles. Utilize techniques like JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for secure communication.
● Test and Deploy backend applications on cloud platforms.
● Implement AI driven functionalities such as recommendation systems, Chat bots and AI agents.
● Utilize Git for source code management and collaboration

Entry Requirements
At least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes including English Language with C6 pass or Higher Nitec or Equivalent
Be able to listen, speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPLN) Level 4.
Minimum Age Required: 21
