About This Course
This module will focus on the creation of data dashboards and decision support tools using Microsoft Power BI Desktop. The objective is to build capabilities in the creation of data dashboard solutions to business intelligence challenges from a range of real-world sector and function contexts.
The approach taken in this module will be in consuming Microsoft Excel data models and focusing on the creation and dissection of data dashboards using Power BI Desktop. The module will take the form of facilitated teamwork to focus on the design and development of a data dashboard for an imagined client.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
• Understand and apply functions and features of “Power BI” by selecting charts, using drills and slicers
• Appreciate and use the Dashboard Design Framework techniques of data representation and storytelling for their own business.
