About This Course

Over the past fifteen years, ethics has come under the spotlight in the accounting profession. High profile accounting scandals involving prominent companies and business personalities have led to the public becoming more skeptical of the accounting profession’s ability and willingness to perform its role as a gatekeeper in the marketplace and protecting the interests of market participants. This course will introduce participants to key ethical concepts and considerations pertinent to accountants. It will also highlight the relevance of ethics in the context of growing digital transformation in the accounting industry.

What You'll Learn

At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
• Understand and apply key ethical frameworks in decision making for accountants;
• Understand how ethical considerations apply in the context of digital transformation in accounting.
