This course aims to equip early childhood educators with the skills to effectively support infants' and toddlers' emotional regulation and behavioural development through the intentional design and use of everyday classroom environments. Participants will learn to identify key environmental factors that influence young children's behaviours and emotions, observe, document, and respond appropriately to children's behavioural cues, and apply positive guidance and emotional modeling techniques to enhance children's resilience. The course also introduces methods for recognising common signs of behavioural dysregulation, thereby strengthening educators' responsiveness and professional judgment during daily caregiving routines. Through real-world scenario practices, case studies, and reflective activities, educators will learn to translate theory into practical classroom behaviour management strategies.
