About This Course

The is a module under the Diploma in Applied Science (Chemical Laboratory Technology).

What You'll Learn

This module aims to equip students with the knowledge on a range of data analysis tools and the skills to apply these tools on industrial data. Students will learn to develop efficient models for predictive data analysis and to apply the trained models on offline data and on streaming data to generate automated alerts.

Entry Requirements

• The participant shall be Singapore Citizens (“SC”), Singapore Permanent Residents (“PR”) or Long-Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) Holders.
• The participant shall be fresh graduates with full-time Institute of Technical Education (ITE) NITEC/ Higher NITEC from the relevant fields.
• The participant shall be within 36 months after their graduation from the PSEI (graduation date as stated on the NITEC/Higher NITEC certificates). For male participants who need to serve National Service, the 36-month period will start from the Operationally Ready Date (“ORD”).
• ITE graduates from other NITEC/Higher NITEC courses may also apply and the application will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Participant who does not falls under any eligibility mentioned above will be considered if IHLs and employer deem candidate suitable for WSP.
