About This Course
By the end of this course, participants can expect to:
• Use advanced git skills as version control in a collaborative environment
• Understand the basics of Linux OS and the use of shell (bash or zsh)
• Understand the network environment for tool development and deploy services in the cloud (AWS)
• Write shell scripts and understand various network and OS vulnerabilities
• Understand the basics of VM and Container (Docker) concepts and compose Dockerfile
• Understand basics of the Internet, common web application vulnerabilities, and apply various mitigation techniques
• Understand about the REST API and Websockets, and fetch simple data
What You'll Learn
The course will provide an overview of methods, workflows and tools to handle increasingly complex software development projects and work as a team to deliver high-quality software . Participants will learn through hands-on practice to apply some best practices in software engineering (e.g. Git Workflows) and will also focus on the applications to real-world applications.
