About This Course

DAI (Design x Artificial Intelligence) is an enhanced design innovation process that merges the human-centered mindset of design thinking with the strategic and generative capabilities of artificial intelligence. This immersive 1-day course introduces participants to the DAI methodology, showcasing how AI can not only accelerate but also elevate the creative innovation process.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities that blend design thinking principles—such as mindsets, opportunity discovery, ideation, and prototyping—with practical, accessible AI tools. These include generative AI for expanding ideation, AI-assisted synthesis of user research, automated concept validation, and scenario simulation using natural language models. Rather than replacing human creativity, AI is positioned as a powerful co-pilot and collaborator in the design innovation process, enabling rapid iteration, and uncovering non-obvious insights from data.

The course is intentionally designed for professionals across all levels of experience in Design Thinking and AI. By the end of the session, participants will have the confidence to meaningfully integrate AI into their innovation workflows—treating it not as a black box, but as a flexible collaborator that complements human intuition and creativity.
