Intermediate Virtual Prototyping in Fashion
About This Course
This course provides participants with a holistic understanding of how to create paper patterns and virtual garment samples using 3D Virtual Fit software. Learners will acquire the skills to evaluate garment fit and style digitally, perform pattern alterations, and place trims and accessories across various garment sizes without the need for full-size physical samples.
Participants will also learn how to develop and manage virtual libraries, including avatars, fabrics, embellishments, and accessories, for future reference. The course covers digital construction of design concepts, enabling learners to test usability, functionality, and aesthetics in a virtual environment. Additionally, participants will gain knowledge on managing prototype creation while ensuring compliance with user research insights and industry standards.
The training is delivered through lectures, software demonstrations, guided Q&A, and extensive hands-on practice using 3D Virtual Fit applications. This course is highly recommended for professionals seeking to enhance their digital garment development and virtual prototyping capabilities.
