About This Course
This course introduces learners to the fundamental skills required to use Adobe Illustrator (AI) and Adobe Photoshop in the field of fashion design and presentation. Participants will develop practical knowledge of AI’s tools, palettes, and interfaces to create vector-based sketches, technical drawings, and professional design layouts tailored to industry standards.
The course also provides an introduction to Photoshop, focusing on image editing and enhancement techniques to complement AI outputs. Learners will gain exposure to digital file types, their properties, and effective transmission methods to improve collaboration across the textile and apparel industry.
By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to create fashion flats, trims, and graphic designs; prepare presentation-ready layouts; and manage digital workflows for communication and production. This course serves as a foundation for advanced fashion illustration skills and enhances productivity through the use of CAD solutions widely adopted across apparel manufacturers, print and embroidery mills, and design houses worldwide.

▪ WSQ ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN FASHION TECHNOLOGY; OR
▪ ADVANCED CERTIFICATE FROM ANY PEI; OR
▪ HIGHER NITEC
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS:
▪ GCE "O" LEVEL CREDITS WITH A MINIMUM OF C6; OR
▪ IELTS SCORE 5.5 OR TOEFL SCORE 46; OR
▪ PASS TEMBUSU INSTITUTE'S ENGLISH TEST
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE BASIC COMPUTING SKILLS, I.E., TURN ON THE LAPTOP, USE THE MOUSE, DRAG AND DROP FILES, USE ONLINE SEARCH ENGINES FOR RESEARCH, AND BE A COMPETENT USER OF MICROSOFT OFFICE.
