About This Course
This course explores how psychological principles are embedded in media to influence audience perception, emotion, and behaviour, and how media in turn shapes human thought, identity, and social interaction. Participants will examine how media creators use psychology theories to shape beliefs, drive behaviour, and convey ideologies. Media theories focuses on how media itself impacts cognitive, emotional, and social development. The course introduces key concepts from media psychology, such as to understand how media affects individual and group decision-making.
