Advanced Network Administration
About This Course
This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to design, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure network environments. Participants will configure Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, DNS zones, and security groups, while implementing hybrid connectivity through VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN. The course also covers load balancing solutions such as Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager to improve application performance and availability. Emphasis is placed on securing networks and applications using NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Link, and WAF. Through scenario-based labs and assessments, participants will build resilient, compliant architectures and strengthen readiness for AZ-700 certification.
What You'll Learn
• Design and configure Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, DNS zones, and security groups to support scalable cloud environments.
• Implement hybrid connectivity using VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN, ensuring secure integration between on‑premises and cloud networks.
• Deploy and manage load balancing solutions (Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager) to optimize application delivery and availability.
• Secure applications and networks with NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Link, and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure networking using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and advanced routing techniques (UDRs, BGP).
• Apply advanced design patterns for multi‑region, resilient, and compliant architectures.
• Demonstrate applied skills through scenario‑based labs and assessments, preparing for both career transition into IT and AZ‑700 certification readiness.
