About This Course

The course equips participants with the skills to conduct evaluations of manufacturing facilities using Consumer Sustainability Industry Readiness Index (COSIRI) framework. Participants will learn to assess 24 key dimensions, identify priority areas, and prepare reports that support sustainable transformation. The course emphasises the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies—such as automation, Internet-of-Things (IoT), and predictive maintenance—with sustainability principles, enabling the development of practical roadmaps and deployment of smart solutions like clean energy and resource-efficient operations. Through applied case studies and expert insights from the Singapore Polytechnic Advanced Manufacturing Centre (SP AMC) and COSIRI mentors, participants will gain hands-on experience and actionable strategies to drive net-zero manufacturing. Upon completion, they will take an external exam conducted by the International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) to become certified COSIRI assessors.
