Digital Employer Branding for HR Professionals
About This Course
This course is designed to meet the emerging demands of professionals in Human Resources (HR), administration, professional services, hospitality, and retail sectors in Singapore, where talent attraction and retention have become increasingly complex due to the effects of digitalisation, demographic shifts, and evolving workforce expectations.
HR and administrative roles are now mission-critical functions across all industries. According to JobStreet’s 2025 Hiring, Compensation, and Benefits Report, “Administration and Human Resources” was cited by 36% of employers as the most in-demand job function, ahead of accounting (28%) and sales/business development (23%). These roles are foundational to managing growth, operational continuity, and organisational culture, particularly in sectors where recruitment cycles are frequent and time-to-fill metrics are under pressure.
In the professional services sector—including finance, legal, and consulting—there is rising competition for skilled workers, particularly younger talent who prioritise career growth, work-life balance, and purpose. Companies are increasingly expected to project a compelling employer brand online, yet many lack the systems, frameworks, and skilled staff to do so effectively.
The hospitality and retail sectors, both of which are labour-intensive and heavily customer-facing, continue to experience acute manpower shortages following the COVID-19 pandemic. The Singapore Retailers Association noted in 2025 that the retail sector’s manpower shortfall has reached a critical stage, with service standards and business growth impacted. To rebuild talent pipelines, these industries must go beyond basic job ads and develop a clear, engaging digital presence that speaks to the values and aspirations of local jobseekers, especially Gen Z and Millennials.
