About This Course
The course aims to train trainees in the areas of railway engineering related to train operation, control and signalling. There will be specialised modules like Rapid Transit System and Rapid Transit Signalling System that cover Automatic Train Operation (ATO), Automatic Train Protection (ATP) and Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) systems. There will also be general engineering foundation modules in the areas of electrical and electronics engineering. The training will allow trainees to acquire basic knowledge and practical skills to work more effectively in the rapid transit industry. For trainees working in relevant companies, the course offers an accelerated pathway by recognising related training at workplace.
