The Certificate in Aeronautics Fundamentals 1 provides participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills in aircraft systems, flight principles, maintenance practices, human factors, and air legislation. It covers gas turbine engine theory, components, and operating characteristics, as well as the principles of flight, including aerodynamic forces, aircraft performance, stability, and control. Participants will gain an understanding of human factors in aviation maintenance and basic Singapore aviation legislation. The course also includes hands-on training in aircraft maintenance procedures, metal joining, inspection techniques, and aircraft handling, in alignment with Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore standards.
