What You'll Learn

The Certificate in Accounting & Analytics provides participants with knowledge and skills in accounting, data analysis, and management decision-making. It covers the use of data visualisation tools such as Power BI to interpret and present business and financial insights, as well as the application of Generative AI in accounting contexts. Participants will also learn fundamental accounting principles, bookkeeping processes, internal controls, and methods to analyse financial performance and position. In addition, the course introduces management accounting concepts, including cost accounting, budgeting methods, performance evaluation, and cost-volume-profit analysis, equipping learners to apply financial information for effective business analysis and management decisions.

Entry Requirements

GCE ‘O’ Levels 3 relevant passes and at least 1-year relevant working experience:

Subjects/Min. Grade:
1. English: 6
2. Mathematics (Elementary or Additional): 6
3. Any one mother subject excluding CCA: 6

FT Nitec:
GPA > 3.5 OR GPA > 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

PT Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA > 3.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

FT Higher Nitec:
GPA > 2.0 OR GPA > 1.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

PT Higher Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA > 2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

WSQ Diploma:
Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) with at least 1 year of relevant working experience and Level 6 for both WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA & Workplace Numeracy SOA.

Without any of the relevant academic qualifications:
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
