About This Course

This is a module under the Diploma in Business Practice (Business Management).

What You'll Learn

This capstone module allows participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business challenges, integrating learning from previous modules. Participants will undertake a comprehensive industry project, which includes project scoping, management, and delivery. Assignment such as proposals, presentations, reflection journals, and recommendation reports will be used to evaluate progress. Participants will develop planning, analytical, and reflective skills while addressing real-world scenarios. Regular feedback and check-ins with company mentors and lecturers will support project development. By the end of the module, participants will demonstrate their ability to oversee industry projects, analyse data, and present actionable recommendations to improve business performance and outcomes. There will also be opportunities for external career guidance and mentoring in this module.

Entry Requirements

GCE ‘O’ Levels 3 relevant passes and at least 1-year relevant working experience:

Subjects/Min. Grade:
1. English: 6
2. Mathematics (Elementary or Additional): 6
3. Any one mother subject excluding CCA: 6

FT Nitec:
GPA > 3.5 OR GPA > 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

PT Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA > 3.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

FT Higher Nitec:
GPA > 2.0 OR GPA > 1.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

PT Higher Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA > 2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

WSQ Diploma:
Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) with at least 1 year of relevant working experience and Level 6 for both WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA & Workplace Numeracy SOA.

Without any of the relevant academic qualifications:
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
