This course equips learners with the practical skills to design, implement, secure, and optimise AWS cloud solutions in line with industry standards. Through a structured sequence of modules, participants progress from mastering core AWS services and integration troubleshooting, to designing resilient architectures, managing identity and security, and configuring compute and networking resources. The course concludes with storage, databases, and monitoring, where learners apply diagnostic tools, conduct implementation tests, and detect issues to ensure performance and reliability. Delivered through synchronous e-learning, it combines instructor guidance with hands-on application, preparing learners to apply cloud computing principles in real-world contexts and meet organizational needs for skilled cloud professionals.
What You'll Learn
Explain and apply AWS foundational services, security, and quality standards to configure a secure and compliant AWS environment in accordance with user requirements
Conduct installation and integration tests to validate scalable cloud systems and minimise integration issues
Apply diagnostic tools to identify cloud-related problems and escalate unresolved implementation issues
Implement technical solutions or techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during the implementation of cloud solutions
Assess cloud solution performance using database administration and benchmarking tools to measure effectiveness against defined metrics
Entry Requirements
Age: 25 years and above
Education: At least a GCE 'O' Level certificate/ GCE ‘N’ Level (Normal Academic stream), Nitec or Higher Nitec qualifications. Applicants without formal academic qualifications may also be considered if they have relevant work experience and computer knowledge
Digital Proficiency: Comfortable using digital tools and workplace software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, cloud-based platforms). Able to perform basic computer tasks such as internet search, creating folders, and copy-paste operations
Technical Experience: No coding experience is required
