PWM-Landscape: Soil and Media Assessment and Remediation (Level 3)
About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Landscape Sector.
On successful completion of this unit, the participant will be able to:
1. Conduct assessment of site that may affect the land and groundwater
2. Prepare soil samples for infield assessment and laboratory assay
3. Develop remediation and/or maintenance strategy plan
4. Implement and monitor soil management plan
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners should meet the basic entry requirements below:
1. At least 1 year of experience in the landscape industry in Singapore
2. Able to understand and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employment Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
3. Able to work outdoor, under the sun, for an extended period of time
4. Be medically fit with no medical or physical conditions that could impede the ability to participate in the course
