About This Course

This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Landscape Sector.
On successful completion of this unit, the participant will be able to:

1. Follow safe work practices according to safety guidelines, standards and legislations including Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act and related statutes
2. Participate in risk control measures in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements
3. Follow Workplace Emergency Response Procedures WSH legislation and
organisational procedures

What You'll Learn

The Hazards and Risk Control, and Policy Management (Level 2) course is designed for Workers and Technicians in the various landscape sub-sectors. It aims to equip participants with the competencies to interpret relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) legislations and relevant industry codes to aid in hazards identification at the workplace.

Entry Requirements

Learners should meet the basic entry requirements below:
1. Preferably with at least 3 months of working experience in the landscape industry in Singapore
2. Able to understand and speak basic English, or at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 2
3. Be medically fit with no medical or physical condition that could impede the ability to participate in this course
