PWM-Landscape: Hazards and Risk Control, and Policy Management (Level 2) (AOP)
About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Landscape Sector.
The AOP seeks to validate competencies in the following areas:
•Follow safe work practices according to safety guidelines, standards and legislations including Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act and related statutes
•Participate in risk control measures in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements
•Follow Workplace Emergency Response Procedures WSH legislation and organisational procedures
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
1. At least 1 year of experience in the landscape industry in Singapore
2. Have basic knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and policies
3. Able to understand and speak basic English, or at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 2
4. Be medically fit with no medical or physical conditions that could impede the ability to participate in the course
5. Participants who do not possess the assumed knowledge and skills set out above should not be precluded from training but it is recommended that they be counselled and advised on suitable preparatory courses that they could undertake to improve their ability to benefit from the module.
