From Functional Data to Persuasive Storytelling for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Professionals
About This Course
The workforce in the semiconductor sector is predominantly from the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. These practitioners’ Professional Education and Training (PET) does not typically emphasise communication and storytelling skills. At the same time, a relative abundance of precise data is available and integral to their workflows. This course is designed to equip such practitioners with techniques for building compelling evidence-based presentations and reports with confidence and clarity. In a compact, 2-day format, it will demystify excellence in spoken and written communication for those whose natural comfort is with numbers rather than narratives. If semiconductor sector practitioners move on to other sectors during their career progression, the skills acquired from this course are transferable and relevant, wherever data-driven communication is hampered not by absence of quality data but by lack of communication competencies.
