About This Course
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to effectively collaborate within a design team to address business challenges and user needs. They will apply product management techniques to develop and launch successful products, and create comprehensive design documentation that clearly communicates design decisions to clients and stakeholders.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
LO1. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary product teams using Agile methodologies to support the management of product lifecycles, track consumer responses, and facilitate smooth phase-in and phase-out of products to achieve project outcomes.
LO2. Align user experience (UX) design with business objectives by analysing competitor, consumer, and technology trends, translating business challenges into product and design requirements, developing product roadmaps, and collaborating with stakeholders to support product, sales, and marketing strategies.
LO3. Design and iterate user-centered product solutions that address business and user needs, using service design principles and strategic product roadmapping.
LO4. Develop, implement, and evaluate content strategies that support user experience and business objectives by applying UX writing principles and analysing content performance using appropriate metrics to inform optimisation and support sales and marketing activities.
LO5. Develop, pitch, and implement product strategies that address business goals and user needs, incorporating product management techniques and aligning efforts with sales and marketing initiatives.
LO6. Manage product development cycles using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and performance tracking with OKRs and KPIs.

Entry Requirements
Academic Requirement
- 3 GCE O level subjects (including English) with a pass (i.e. C6
and above) or equivalent
- Completion of General Assembly's Course - User Interface and Visual Design Foundations
Language Proficiency
- GCE O Level English with a pass (i.e. C6 of above) or
- Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5
