Digital Yard and Smart Manufacturing for Marine and Offshore
About This Course
This two-day course equips marine and offshore professionals with the knowledge and tools to drive digital transformation in shipyards. Participants will explore how Industry 4.0 technologies - digital twins, Internet of Things (IoT) based condition monitoring, Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) analytics, and applied robotics - enable smarter, safer, and more sustainable yard operations. Through real-world case studies and practical exercises, learners will gain insights into system integration, production optimisation, and cybersecurity for Smart Shipyard 4.0. The course culminates in a team-based Digital Yard Transformation Plan, empowering participants to design actionable roadmaps for productivity, workforce readiness, and sustainable innovation in the marine and offshore sector.
