Programming Basics and Data Analytics with Python (Synchronous E-learning)
About This Course
This course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills to design, develop, and apply Python programming across data-driven environments. Beginning with the fundamentals of coding tools, organisational standards, clean coding practices, and syntax, learners build a solid foundation for professional software development. The course then progresses into data handling, where learners apply development standards, embed user interfaces, and structure datasets for analysis. Building on this, learners explore data analysis and visualization, using debugging techniques, software testing, and application modifications to produce accurate and reliable insights. Finally, learners advance to machine learning, where they construct and assess basic ML models, address security threats, apply unit testing, integrate APIs, and reuse components to create secure, maintainable solutions. By the end of the course, learners will be able to apply Python programming across the full data lifecycle — from development to data processing, analysis, and machine learning deployment — aligned with industry standards and best practices.
What You'll Learn
1. Apply programming tools, language syntax, and clean coding practices to produce maintainable application code.
2. Develop simple application components according to organisational and application development standards.
3. Embed user interface templates and enhance applications based on endorsed design recommendations.
4. Apply debugging techniques to identify, reproduce, and resolve application errors.
5. Perform unit and routine software testing along modification activities to improve application reliability and functionality.
6. Implement the identified appropriate security features and application programming interfaces to address application security risk as well as extensibility.
7. Prepare applications for deployment and long-term maintenance through component reuse, bundling, containerisation, and documentation.
