SCTP Capstone Digital Project Management and Delivery through Agile
About This Course
This is module 3 of the (SCTP) Digital Business Analyst (Full-Time) (TA-eligible) programme, which immerses participants in end-to-end digital project management and delivery using Agile methodologies. Through practical team-based work, participants will apply Agile frameworks to manage project workflows, analyse business requirements, and design user-centred digital solutions. The module culminates in the development of a comprehensive business analysis report and accompanying artefacts, enabling participants to demonstrate their ability to translate insights into a viable, well-structured digital solution.
What You'll Learn
Introduces the Lean philosophy (waste elimination) and the essential Agile mindset. It provides a deep dive into the two most popular Agile frameworks: Scrum and Kanban, defining their roles, artifacts, and events.
2. Agile Execution: Metrics, Facilitation, and Delivery
Covers the practical skills for running an Agile team. This includes using key Agile & Product Metrics (Velocity, Lead Time) to measure health and teaching skills to effectively facilitate key ceremonies like Ideation, Prioritisation, and Retrospective sessions.
3. Organisational Change and Agile Scaling
Focuses on how to apply Agile principles across multiple teams and large organisations (Scaling Agile). It also teaches crucial Change Management strategies for managing the human and process aspects of transformation.
4. Capstone Project Work
This is the final project where participants apply all concepts learned across the curriculum to design, manage, and plan the delivery of a digital solution from concept to roadmap. Concepts applied include User Experience (UX), Business Analysis (BA), Information Technology (IT), Quality Assurance (QA), and Agile.
5. Final Assessment
The final assessment evaluates the participants' end-to-end proficiency across the entire digital product lifecycle, integrating knowledge from User-Centred Solutions (M1), Technology and Quality Assurance (M2), and Agile Project Management (M3).
