Specialist Diploma in Smart Manufacturing: Cyber-AI Resilience (SDSM(CR))
About This Course
The Specialist Diploma in Smart Manufacturing (Cyber-AI Resilience) combines industrial cybersecurity with AI-driven applications to strengthen the resilience and intelligence of modern manufacturing systems. Learners will explore OT security, incident response, industrial AI and predictive analytics to safeguard and optimise connected operations.
Post Diploma Certificates
PDC2 – Industrial Cybersecurity & Resilience [NP]
This certificate prepares learners to secure Industrial Control Systems (ICS) amid IT/OT convergence and IIoT adoption. It covers OT cybersecurity, industrial networking, ICS architecture, protocols, cyber threats and key standards. Practical exercises in a simulated OT environment develop skills in asset discovery, vulnerability management and access control. The programme culminates in a capstone project involving vulnerability scanning, simulated attacks and mitigation strategies.
#PDC3 – AI in Manufacturing [A*STAR (SIMTech/ARTC)]
Through five modules# exclusively offered by A*STAR (SIMTech/ARTC), learners will be equipped with practical skills to apply artificial intelligence across the entire manufacturing value chain. Learners will develop competencies in generative AI for manufacturing, industrial AI for predictive analytics and optimisation, intelligent inspection, digital production planning and data-driven predictive maintenance. Real-world application is reinforced through hands-on exercises and case studies, supported by exposure to tools such as Amazon Bedrock, LangChain and SIMTech’s S-MOM platform. Learners will be able to understand and implement AI-enabled solutions that enhance productivity, quality and operational resilience in smart manufacturing environments.
#The five modules are equivalent to a post-diploma certificate (PDC) and upon completing all the modules, learners will be granted exemption to fulfil one of the PDC requirements of the Specialist Diploma in Smart Manufacturing (Cyber-AI Resilience).
