Real-Time Production Techniques
About This Course
This course equips learners with foundational and practical skills to support real-time animation and performance workflows in virtual production environments. Learners will explore how real-time engines are used to integrate motion capture data, coordinate character animation playback, and manage performance within cinematic scenes across film, broadcast, and interactive media.
Learners will gain experience operating animation tools, adjusting motion data, and configuring character rigs for real-time playback. They will develop skills in managing animation assets, coordinating timing across performance scenes, and supporting motion-related tasks throughout the production pipeline.
Designed for learners entering or transitioning into real-time production, the course equips them with the core competencies to contribute effectively to animation-focused virtual production pipelines. Individuals from media, technical, and creative backgrounds—such as junior animators, motion editors, and production assistants—will benefit from this industry-relevant training.
