AI System Design & Architecture: Embedding Compliance into Technical Foundations (SF)
About This Course
This 3-day intensive course trains technical professionals to design AI systems that are secure, auditable, and compliant by design. Rather than treating compliance as an afterthought, participants will learn to embed regulatory and ethical controls into system architecture—from data flow, model versioning, and logging to deployment and user access. Through practical design labs and real-world case reviews, learners will develop architectural patterns for traceability, explainability, bias mitigation, and access governance. The course equips teams with patterns to meet AI regulatory expectations (e.g., transparency, fairness, data sovereignty) regardless of cloud or vendor.
What You'll Learn
LO2: Identify basic security vulnerabilities, biases, & risks in AI models using fundamental concepts of AI model security
LO3: Document risk-related information using the basics of pre deployment system testing practices
LO4: Support the configuration of AI guardrails with general trust and safety practices post go live.
