End-to-End Microservices Deployment with Security and Orchestration (SF)
About This Course
This course provides a hands-on, end-to-end experience where learners integrate skills in microservices development, secure software design, and container orchestration. Over the course of 5 days, participants will plan, build, secure, deploy, and test a multi-service application based on a realistic use case such as an online retail system.
Ideal for beginner-level learners who have completed foundational training, this capstone emphasizes project-based learning with simplified service logic, guided labs, and collaborative troubleshooting. Learners will apply threat modeling, containerization, service orchestration, and monitoring strategies to deploy a secure and resilient microservices system.
The final day includes assessments where learners will present their working solution, demonstrate system behavior under fault conditions, and explain their security architecture and deployment workflow.

What You'll Learn
LO2 Deploy release packages of a threat model to address architecture-level vulnerabilities in a live environment using build management practices
LO3 Develop approaches to transition microservices to new or enhanced service designs and manage software change requests within the CI/CD pipeline
LO4 Analyze benefits and risk of proposed changes to Dockerfiles to determine changes to be made for Containers Orchestration by referencing to programming languages in different contexts for effectiveness
LO5 Develop microservices based on design specifications and container orchestration configuration requirements using appropriate programming language
LO6 Determine suitable scopes of pilots to test service before full deployment with appropriate software testing methods / approaches
LO7 Plan and develop solution release, conduct post-release & deployment reviews to measure performance based on standard practices
LO8 Integrate code changes or branches back to the master code repository using programming languages
LO9 Recommend new release strategies, deployment tools, techniques and automation processes based on emerging software development frameworks for adoption
LO10 Automate repetitive and routine tasks within the CI/CD process with the use of appropriate programming language to improve effectiveness
LO11 Develop and test release packages for deployment and troubleshoot issues within the CI/CD pipeline applying various software testing approaches
LO12 Conduct handover of support to service operations in compliance with standards practices
