About This Course

This a Module under the Diploma in Design (Interior Design).

What You'll Learn

The module emphasises on students acquiring foundational level of using manual and digital drawing techniques to produce basic orthographic drawings specific to interior design. Through various drawing exercises, students will practice and learn both analytical and expressive components of the drawing process. In turn, obtaining a good understanding of form, texture, proportion, perspective, tonal value and composition.

Entry Requirements

GCE ‘O’ Levels:
3 relevant passes and 1-year relevant working experience:
English Language: 1-7
Mathematics (Elementary or Additional): 1-7
Any other subject excluding CCA: 1-6

FT Nitec:
Nitec in Space Design (Interior & Exhibition), Space Design (Architecture) or related design discipline with GPA >= 3.5
OR
Nitec in Space Design (Interior & Exhibition), Space Design (Architecture) or related design discipline with GPA >= 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

PT Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA > 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience

FT Higher Nitec:
Higher Nitec with GPA >=2.0
OR
Higher Nitec with GPA >=1.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

PT Higher Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA > 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience

WSQ Diploma:
Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) with 1 year of relevant working experience and Level 6 for both WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA & Workplace Numeracy SOA.
