About This Course

This a Module under the Diploma in Design (Interior Design).

What You'll Learn

This module is an introduction to a practice-oriented interior design training that develops students with the relevant management and productivity tools, practical skills, and knowledge to apply into their working life as a designer. Students will be introduced to pre-contract administration procedures for understanding the planning and management of projects, whilst being exposed to codes of practices, professional practices, productivity concepts, and expectations in the Interior Design industry.
Students may also gain exposure to emerging technologies such as AI as supportive tools for research, data analysis, and productivity enhancement in project planning and management.

Entry Requirements

GCE ‘O’ Levels
3 relevant passes and 1-year relevant working experience:
English Language: 1-7
Mathematics (Elementary or Additional): 1-7
Any other subject excluding CCA: 1-6

FT Nitec
Nitec in Space Design (Interior & Exhibition), Space Design (Architecture) or related design discipline with GPA >= 3.5
OR
Nitec in Space Design (Interior & Exhibition), Space Design (Architecture) or related design discipline with GPA >= 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

PT Nitec in Technology/Services
GPA > 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience

FT Higher Nitec Higher Nitec with GPA >=2.0
OR
Higher Nitec with GPA >=1.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

PT Higher Nitec in Technology/Services
GPA > 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience

WSQ Diploma
Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) with 1 year of relevant working experience and Level 6 for both WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA & Workplace Numeracy SOA.
