Diploma in Design (Business & Strategy)
About This Course
Designed for creatives and working professionals, this course builds strategic, analytical and communication skills that extend beyond traditional creative practice. It prepares creative professionals to future-proof their careers by integrating design, strategy, business and effective use of artificial intelligence (AI). Capabilities increasingly in demand across Singapore’s evolving creative and digital economy.
As creative professionals across sectors such as the arts, design, media, fashion, events, gaming and retail take on broader responsibilities, the ability to lead, collaborate, think analytically and work effectively alongside AI tools have become essential.
This programme bridges that gap by equipping participants with foundational knowledge in business, sharpening their analytical and transdisciplinary skills and offering practical experience in brand strategy training, digital marketing skills, human-centred design, application of AI tools and managing multidisciplinary or cross-cultural teams.
These areas align closely with SkillsFuture priorities and enable graduates to be future-ready and contribute meaningfully as Singapore advances towards a future economy driven by digital, green and care sectors.
