Modular Certificate in Business & Design Foundations

The Certificate in Business & Design Foundations equips participants with foundational knowledge in research, marketing and branding, and career planning. It covers basic research methods used in design, marketing, and communication, including audience profiling, surveys, observation, and interpreting and visualising qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights for content and campaign planning. Participants will also learn core marketing and branding concepts such as the 4Ps, customer segmentation, brand positioning, and consumer behaviour. In addition, the course supports career development through reflection and planning using the Design Your Life framework, including strengths mapping, goal setting, action planning, and developing a professional portfolio to showcase creative and communication skills.
