About This Course
The Barista Skills Level Up Programme is a 28 hrs programme which provides in-employment persons with disabilities to pick up barista skills to increase their employability. The programme covers practical training at both our academy and their employment sites.
What You'll Learn
Module 1: Barista Skills (2x 6hr sessions):
1. Espresso calibration and extraction drill
2. Milk frothing
3. Latte art
4. Speed of beverage preparation
Module 2: Workplace F&B Service Skills (5x 3hr sessions):
1. Onsite coaching support in the trainee�s natural environment
2. Trainer to provide immediate feedback and rectification while observing the trainee�s work
Practical assessment will be conducted for Barista Skills module while feedback will be given at the trainee's workplace for immediate support to improve outcomes.
