About This Course
This course blends the power of Cyber Resilience and AI. Bad actors like scattered spiders and Dragonforce exploit the cracks in the IT Infrastructure and the cost of managing cyber attacks are expensive for organisations with reputation at stake. The course ensures cyber warriors are built with better readiness and resilience.It also covers insider risk detection, immutable backup strategies, Ransomware defense, Data classification, Data Security Posture Management, and Business continuity planning aligned with industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001. Through scenario-based exercises and assessments, participants will design and evaluate data protection and recovery strategies that minimize operational disruption. By the end of the course, learners will be able to implement robust technical and procedural measures that protect organizational assets, support rapid recovery from incidents, and meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
What You'll Learn
Classify and protect data using sensitivity tagging, encryption, and lifecycle management controls.
Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to mitigate accidental and malicious data exfiltration
Identify and address insider risk scenarios through behavioral monitoring and policy enforcement.
Design and test immutable backup and recovery strategies to meet RPO and RTO requirements.
Apply cyber resilience and business continuity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) to crisis response planning.
Develop an integrated data security and resiliency plan that meets regulatory and compliance obligations.
Entry Requirements
This programme is ideal for mid-career professionals seeking a career switch into cybersecurity from IT, infrastructure, cloud, software, data, or audit/compliance roles.
Applicants should be comfortable with basic computing and networking concepts (Windows/Linux fundamentals, IP/network basics); prior cybersecurity experience is not required.
A Diploma or higher (any discipline) or ≥2 years’ relevant work experience is recommended. Experience with Python/PowerShell or cloud services (AWS/Azure) is a plus, not a prerequisite.
Own laptop (Windows/macOS) required for hands-on activities.
