Capstone Project in Cybersecurity (Part of SCTP)
About This Course
The capstone project provides learners with the opportunity to apply knowledge from all six modules in a realistic, end-to-end cybersecurity scenario. Working individually or in teams, participants will design and implement solutions that integrate SOC operations, identity and access management, secure application practices, data resiliency, and governance/compliance frameworks. The project requires learners to analyze a complex cyber challenge, propose a defense architecture, and deliver a portfolio-ready report and presentation. By completing the capstone, learners demonstrate not only technical proficiency but also the ability to synthesize strategy, tools, and compliance into a holistic solution, proving their readiness for mid-level cybersecurity roles in Singapore’s digital economy.
What You'll Learn
Integrate knowledge from SOC operations, identity security, application security, data resiliency, and GRC into a unified solution.
Analyze a complex, real-world cyber scenario and identify key risks and vulnerabilities.
Design a holistic security architecture aligned with industry frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, MAS TRM, PDPA, CSA).
Apply hands-on tools and methods to demonstrate effective mitigation and recovery strategies.
Communicate technical findings and strategic recommendations clearly through a portfolio-ready report and presentation.
