Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) for Sustainability & Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
About This Course
This course equips sustainability professionals to apply Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) to strengthen sustainability reporting, interpret emissions data, review disclosures, analyse sustainability risks, and generate stakeholder communications, supporting responsible AI adoption for organisational sustainability transformation with no coding required. Participants learn how AI retrieves and structures sustainability metrics from sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reports, uses clear and reusable prompt techniques to generate reliable insights, reduces unsupported statements by linking answers to real document evidence using retrieval augmentation concepts, and aligns environmental data understanding to recognised global sustainability frameworks such as ISO 14064. The course also builds awareness of ethical and responsible AI reasoning, bias considerations, decision transparency, source tracing, and manual verification practices that maintain essential human oversight.
