About This Course

This module is focused on strengthening the students' craft-related skills in the area of sound.

What You'll Learn

This module covers the principles of sound recording and capturing high-quality audio. Students will be introduced to various sound equipment, techniques for different shooting scenarios, sound design and post-production audio editing.

Entry Requirements

The following GCE 'O' Level grades and with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
i. English Language (Grade 1-6)
ii. Mathematics (Grade 1-6)
iii. One other subject (Grade 1-6)

• NITEC with GPA >= 3.5 with at least 2 years of relevant work experience or Higher NITEC with at least 1 year of relevant work experience
• NITEC in Technology or Services with GPA >= 3.5 and with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Higher NITEC in Technology or Services with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Relevant WSQ Diploma qualifications (depending on sector, Programme & level - bridging course may be required) with at least 3 years of relevant working experience and WPLN (Level >= 6) may be accepted as ‘O’ Level equivalent English Language & Mathematics requirements
