Management Accounting (in PDC in Financial & Management Accounting in Specialist Diploma in Accounting & Finance)
About This Course
The objective of the Specialist Diploma in Accounting & Finance (SDAF) is to enable working adults with relevant work experience to deepen and broaden their competencies in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Sustainability Reporting so that they can perform higher-value roles and progress into supervisory and managerial positions.
The revised course structure enhances relevance to industry by reflecting the expanding roles and responsibilities of accounting and finance professionals. In response to Singapore’s adoption of ISSB-aligned climate reporting requirements and the increasing integration of sustainability-related disclosures into mainstream corporate reporting, the programme incorporates a core Sustainability Reporting subject to equip participants with capabilities to identify, assess and communicate sustainability-related risks, opportunities and performance.
Financial analysis capabilities have been strengthened through deeper integration within Financial Accounting while Management Accounting and Financial Management are aligned with recognised professional competency frameworks and progression pathways. This enhances learners’ workplace applicability, supports career advancement into higher-level roles, and meets industry demand for accounting and finance professionals with integrated financial and sustainability skillsets.
