The Practicing Coach
About This Course
This course is Module 3 of the Khrysalis Coaching Series, an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited programme. Completing all three modules will qualify participants to apply for ICF coaching certification as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
As part of this coaching training programme individuals will be able to who aspire to deepen their coaching capabilities. As you embark on this module, you will build desirable coaching traits encouraging others to grow. Additionally the coaching training will help you enhance your coaching ability, self-awareness and mindfulness.
You will gain self-awareness and mindfulness as you implement self-reflection techniques required in this coaching journey to hone and enhance your coaching ability. Individuals will be given opportunities to practise active listening and asking clarifying questions to help others to move forward. At the end of the programme, engage in 1-to-1 coach mentoring sessions with the coaches for a personalised approach to improve your coaching practice.
This coaching course is highly experiential, with opportunities for peer assessment and feedback in small group settings. In the "hot-seat," aspiring coaches demonstrate their skills and receive feedback from peers and certified ICF Coach-Mentors.
Through ‘The Practicing Coach’, you will deepen your understanding and application of ICF core competencies as you prepare to become a certified ICF coach. Upon successful completion of this ICF-certified coaching programme, you will be all-set to advance your career in coaching.
This course meets the International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards requirements.
Additional Benefit for all participants: Three (3) individual One (1) hour 1:1 Coach Mentoring sessions are included post completion of the module.
Trainees are given 3 months to complete 3 Coach Mentoring sessions. If a trainee is unable to complete the Coach Mentoring sessions satisfactorily within 3 months.

You will gain self-awareness and mindfulness as you implement the self-reflection techniques required in this coaching journey to hone and accelerate your coaching ability. Ample opportunity to practice active listening and asking questions to help others move forward with coaching conversation guidelines to help you start and close the session.
This course is highly experiential where learners will focus on honing their craft through peer practice and assessment in small-group settings or be in the “hot-seat”. In the “hot-seat”, to-be Coach will demonstrate their coaching techniques and be assessed by their peers and Coach-Mentors.
This course meets the International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards requirements.
Entry Requirements
Be able to speak, read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Workplace Literacy (WPL) level 8
Have no less than 3 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role
